Quiche Lorraine

[Made for Mosier Dec. 2001]

Crust:
1 1/2 c sifted flour
1 1/2 c sugar
1 tsp salt

  • Mix together and sift into a pie plate.
  • Add 1/2 c cooking oil and 2 Tablespoons milk (whipped together first) and pat into the pie pan

Filling:
4 eggs, slightly beaten
1 1/2 c milk
8 oz. sliced sharp cheddar cheese (Cracker Barrel brand preferred)
3/4 c diced ham or Spam

  • Alternate layers of cheese and ham/Spam
  • Pour milk and eggs on top of the entire layered portion
  • Bake 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes (in some ovens this will take up to an hour to bake)
