French Silk Pie

cream together:
1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup sugar

add:
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 square melted chocolate

add:
3 whole eggs

Beat 5 minutes with beater on high
add 1 whole egg and beat another 5 minutes

Pour into baked pie shell and chill
Serve with whipped cream

Frozen Cranberry PIe

1 8-oz. cream cheese
1 can cranberry sauce
1 cup Cool Whip

Whip all together and put in graham cracker crust and put in freezer

No-Roll Pie Crust

1 1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 Tablespoons sugar
2 Tablespoons milk

Mix and put into a 9-inch pie tin and press into shape.

Pie Crust

{makes 12 double pies}

12 cups flour
4 teaspoons salt
6 cups (5 c) shortening
4 eggs
26 Tablespoons water (1 1/3 cups)
4 Tablespoons vinegar

{enough for 6 double pies}
6 cups flour
2 teaspoons salt
2 1/2 cups shortening
2 eggs
1 cup water
2 Tablespoons vinegar

Cherry Cream Pie

[3/4/58]

Bake a pie shell and cool it
Soften an 8-ounce package of Philadelphia cream cheese and when smooth add 1 tsp. vanilla and 1 cup powdered sugar. Then add a cup of whipped cream and blend it in.

Pour into pie shell and ad a can of ready prepared red cherries over the top. Be sure to use the thickened type canned cherries.

Muriel's Strawberry Dessert

Ingredients:
  • Vanilla wafers, crushed
  • 3/4 c butter
  • 1 1/2 c powdered sugar
  • 2 eggs, separated
  • 1 pint of berries
  • 1 envelope of gelatin

Directions:
  • Cream together butter and sugar.
  • Add in beaten egg whites
  • Spread butter, sugar, & egg white mixture over crushed vanilla wafers
  • Put gelatin into juice and heated to soften
  • Spread over the wafers/butter/sugar/egg mixture
  • Spread whipped cream and nuts over all

Fresh Strawberry Pie

1 c sugar
1 c water
1 Tablespoon rounded corn starch
1/2 cup fresh strawberries

Mix together and let cook until the berries are done.
Fill a pie crust with fresh berries and pour the above mixture over it
Let it stand a couple of hours before using
Serve with whipped cream
